Personal, Social, and Health Education

The mission of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSH) is

  • To develop the right knowledge and skills in all students that is the foundation for engaging in physical activity
  • To empower all students to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive, and fulfilling life in personal, academic, and later on in their professional life.
  • TO lay down a sequential educational programme undertaken in an active, caring, supportive, and non-threatening atmosphere in which every student is challenged and successful.

Efforts are made on a daily basis to encourage students for sports activities. Participation in sports activities important for the student on personal levels. We want all the kids to like PE classes, but a better goal is to teach them movement activities so that they can perform on their own and go creative, for example, they like few games in P.E. so much that they want to do them at recess, after school, and at home as well, more than they want to play video games or watch television. Part of the trick is to emphasize fun over-exercise.

Larger classes are usually broken into smaller groups
